Description
We are on Korfalonas beach, of the municipality of Kissamos in the Regional Unit of Chania, in Crete, Greece.

The film opens with a ball in the sea and the camera focusing on the sand on which someone has written "1969" as it is slowly being erased by the water. We see a parked white car with farmlands on both sides and a woman, who wears black clothes, going down the hill. The filmmaker follows her for a while and we see the lush vegetation as well as the beach in the background. Afterwards, he shows us a general view of the area.

The view changes with shots from the sea and two women walking. The lens captures a handmade hut, made of reeds and wood, as well as various people who walk alongside the coast. A woman is sitting in the shade of the hut while there are people in the sea, one of them relaxes in the shallows, another one swims a little deeper and an old man stands and enjoys the view.

A shot with the crystal clear waters and then another with the people on the beach. A woman, who is standing on the shore, plays with the water, a man comes out of the hut with his towel, an old woman in black clothes sits on the shore while another one walks alongside the coastline. The lens follows the old woman’s course who heads towards the hut, then when she goes out she joins a younger one as they smile together at the camera.

The film closes with two donkeys and their riders as well as three kids running behind them.
