Description
We are in the Prefecture of Lassithi, the easternmost and least populated prefecture of Crete, in Greece.

The filmmaker, as he passes from the village of Limnes, records an old windmill in which the stones, that were placed in circles with a little space between them around the mill, stand out and functioned as a ladder for the owner to reach the sails (cloth material). In the background, we see the imposing Lassithi mountains or Dikti mountain range.

A woman in black clothes and on foot meets with another woman who, as she is on her mule, leads two small goats tied with a rope.

A general view in Mirabello Bay, in the area of ​​the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos. We see that the coastal route has a series of tourist accommodation and a zoom-in shot on a boat that enters the bay that has been created. The creek of Katholikon houses the early Byzantine domed church of St Nikolaos, which has given its name to the entire city.

We see a panoramic shot from the opposite side of the bay, where we the bungalows of the Minos Beach Hotel, right on the sea but also other large hotel units under construction.

A speedboat crosses the bay pulling a skier. It overlooks villas, the construction work of a bridge and boats that are moored in the calm waters.

Next we are in the Voulismeni lagoon, in the center of Agios Nikolaos which was connected to the port of the town by a canal that opened in 1870 and is considered the town’s trademark.

We see many small fishing boats, inflatable boats as well as leisure facilities such as restaurants, patisseries, etc., but also the canal that leads to the port of the town, in Mirabello Bay.

In a small park, by the lake, there is the bust of the Greek politician Eleftherios Venizelos.
