Description
We are in Ermoupolis, the largest town and port of Syros, an island of the Cyclades.

The film opens with the moored ferryboat "OIA". An old man walks towards the ship and then we see him standing on the ship’s deck enjoying the view. The filmmaker gives us views of the harbor with the ships as well as the building structure of Syros. We see shots from the "Syros Neorion" (the shipyard that has been operating since 1861 with a long history in ship repairs, constructions and upgrades) and afterwards we watch a boat in the port.

The view changes with a shot the shop of "Leivadaras" in the port that, as the sign says, sells loukoumia (or lokum, type of candy based on a gel of starch and sugar), the most famous product that is produced on the island, and next to it is the traditional cafe "Tinos". One more view of the harbor with moored boats and the castle of Ano Syros standing out on the background. The lens focuses on a tugboat named "PHOENIX" and on the support ship "SAKIPIS A329" of the Greek Navy.

The film closes with shots from the sea with another ferryboat which is accompanying the ship the filmmaker is on and a short shot of the lighthouse Tamelos in the southernmost cape of Tzia island.
