Description
Politia is a neibourhood in the eastern part of the Municipalities of Nea Erithraia and Kifissia, near Athens.

It is a very elegant area, west of the Mount Pentelicus with a careful street planning and famous for the love of its residents for floriculture. It is also known as "Kokkinaras" from the homonymous stream that flows through it.

At the beginning of the film, we see panoramic shots from Politia square, the main square of the area. Taking advantage of the sunny day, the filmmaker gives us shots from the green square, its plants and trees, with a part of Mount Pentelikon and the sparsely populated district at its foot as a background.

Afterwards, we see a particularly beautiful, stone-made, bus stop, still under operation today. Lastly, the film closes with a quick shot of a plane tree, the presence of which confirms the nickname of the area "Kokkinaras" as it is a tree that thrives in places with a strong presence of water.
