We are in Kalavryta, a mountainous town in the Prefecture of Achaia, built in the Aroania Mountains (Chelmos) at an altitude of 735 meters.
The film opens with shots of the railroad tracks as the moving train moves forward. The view changes with an uphill dirt road and quite a few people going up it as some of them are on donkeys. The lens focuses on a couple of children going up the road with a donkey and then on a group who walks up ahead. We see the edifice of the Monastery of the Mega Spilaio, formally Known as the Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos and afterwards, the lens focuses on the ravine of the Vouraikos river. We get back to the shots with the people descending this time from the Mega Spilaio.
The film closes with shots of the train route as well as a little girl standing in the last carriage and looking at the view.
