Description
The Evzonoi are chosen soldiers of the Greek army, more commonly known as "tsoliades", who carry out symbolic missions such as being a member of the Presidential Guard or guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential Mansion in Athens.

Today it is called the Presidential Guard, as the monarchy in Greece was permanently abolished by a referendum in 1974.

In the film (during the reign of King Paul I) we see footage from the military unit of the Royal Guard who return to their base camp, where the VASSILIKI FROURA (Royal Guard) sign is completely visible, with a royal crown.

Then we see women and children who approach the outpost of an Evzonas in order to be photographed with him, something that is customary to do till today.
